If Dry Cleaning

• • You may dry clean your garment using an eco friendly or cashmere specialist. Many dry cleaners use harsh processes which may damage your garment, so please select your dry cleaner carefully.
• The dry cleaner should not apply high heat, starch, or any harsh chemicals to the garment.
• All embellishments should be covered during dry cleaning to protect the gemstones

If Hand Washing

Before hand washing, please check your garment label to make sure this option is suitable

• Hand wash in cold water.
• Use a delicate soap with no harsh chemicals (a lingerie wash or a cashmere specific detergent).
• To dry, lay the garment completely flat in the shade.
• If needed, you may iron on a low temperature or gently steam to release wrinkles; cashmere may require gentle reshaping when wet to regain its original size
• Take care not to apply direct heat to the gemstones.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.

Storage

• Store the garment folded in it's garment pouch, in a cool dry place.
• For best protection keep it in a sealed drawer or plastic bin with a cedar block.

Pilling and Fabric Care

• Pilling is expected with all cashmere.
• Our cashmere shirts are created with the utmost softness in mind and we avoid harsh over treating, so you will experience pilling as the garment is worn; this is normal.
• To treat pilling, use a high quality cashmere comb or brush only in areas where pilling has occurred.
• Use light, repetitive strokes to remove pilling without snagging the fabric..
• o not use a fabric shaver, as it can cut the cashmere fibres.
